Michael & Christopher have a rich 18-year history as friends and business partners. Both have extensive experience in construction, both in the field and estimating.
Michael Rodriguez -
Senior estimator / Managing partner
Michael Rodriguez is the founder and senior estimator at precision consulting. You could say Mike has concrete in his veins. Growing up in the concrete trade with his dad and brothers, he gained real world experience as he progressed from laborer, to finisher, to foreman. Upon moving to Southern California in 1999 he pivoted to focus on estimating. While working at Perez and other midsize concrete contractors, he was able to learn from some of the most experienced estimators in the industry. With approximately 27+ years’ of structural concrete estimating, he is a true expert. Mike has a sharp eye for analyzing logistics and value engineering to generate the most accurate and realistic estimates and critical path, for maximum efficiency and returns.
Christopher Cook -
Lead estimator / Managing partner
Christopher Cook is a seasoned estimator with a rich history in the construction industry that dates back to his childhood in California, working in the family business with his father and grandfather on concrete, masonry and general construction projects. In 2015, after more than a decade long detour in the dental field where he picked up many interpersonal, sales, and soft skills, he refocused his attention back to his roots in the construction field. Now, with 1,200+ projects and 18,000 hours under his belt he has become a reliable and experienced professional. With a keen eye for speed and accuracy Chris adeptly evaluates project plans, requirements, specifications and contracts. He meticulously analyzes projects in a comprehensive manner to deliver fast and accurate takeoffs and estimates.
